Since the social media app allows companies to promote their brand without buying expensive and often ineffective ads, marketing is not only cheaper but feels more organic to consumers -- but only when done right.

In early childhood circles, one often hears talk about activities that develop fine motor skills. This is because one of the many tasks of early childhood is to strengthen the muscles in the fingers and hand so that children will be able to use those muscles to carry out tasks such as feeding themselves, buttoning buttons, tying shoes, using scissors, and writing words.

It’s not easy balancing work and home, but how well you manage this can make a significant difference to your relationship with your family.

There are no 'right' or 'wrong' choices, and your choices will change at different stages in your family’s life. If you are in a couple, it may feel easier if one partner stays at home while the other goes out to work or if one is in full-time employment and the other part-time, and for others, both may continue with full-time jobs.

If you are a parent managing on your own or sharing parenting with your ex, the choices you have are more limited and you’ll have less support in making those choices. Trying to balance work and home life is even more difficult. You may not always feel in control but there are things you can do and think about to help manage the balance between work and home.

All parents are upset when their child blatantly disregards their rules. "Have we failed as parents? Is he going to be a juvenile delinquent?", parents in my workshops and coaching sessions will ask me.

I reassure them that in situations such as these, there is nothing wrong with their little fellow. He is simply acting out some natural developmental issues. Once you understand these issues and work with them effectively, you can gain the co-operation you are looking for.

Young children function according to the pleasure principle. Bouncing in the air on a soft cushioned couch is thrilling. It's much more fun than being a good listener at this age. Happiness is a tremendous advantage in a world that emphasizes performance. On average, happy people are more successful than unhappy people at both work and love. They get better performance reviews, have more prestigious jobs, and earn higher salaries. They are more likely to get married, and once married, they are more satisfied with their marriage.
